We have previously told you about a tweak called ‘Zepplin‘ which lets you change carrier logo on your JailBroken iOS Device. Fortunately, if you have a non-JailBroken iDevice such as iPhone 4s/5 or an iPad, you can change carrier logo with the help of an application on Mac – CarrierEditor. Currently, this software is only available for Mac and it seems that the developer has no intensions to make a Windows version soon.
Anyhow, the change in carrier logo takes place through a simple process of restoring the carrier settings on iTunes. Since it’s a restore process, it won’t do anything with your installed firmware or change everything to default. Instead, it would act like an update from carrier which is generally received in the form of an .ipcc file. Also, you don’t need to worry if you wish to revert because original file is also saved beside the file you need to replace the carrier logo with.
If you want to change the carrier logo, head over to the nice tutorial from Modmyi which tells about exactly how you can perform the process. This software is nowhere associated from your carrier, so go ahead at your own risk. Due to the fact that JailBreak would take a tad more time to arrive, it’s the only way for non-JailBreakers. Let’s know if you face any issue in the comment section below.
